Three steps provide an alternative to jumping directly onto furniture. Compare the 35cm overall height with your sofa or bed and check any remaining gap before purchase. This is a set of stairs, not a continuous ramp.
Let your pet explore the steps gradually under supervision. Consider their stride, balance and mobility rather than assuming the stairs suit every older pet. They do not guarantee prevention of joint strain or injury; seek veterinary guidance on access for pets with pain or mobility difficulties.
Removable washable plush cover
The polyester plush cover can be removed and is described as suitable for hand or machine washing. Follow the cover's care instructions for washing and drying settings. The washable-cover feature does not mean the particleboard structure can be washed in the same way.
Refit the cover securely before use and inspect the fabric and structure regularly.
