Give your cat a sheltered place to pause in the garden with the PawHut outdoor cat house. This grey fir wood shelter features three doors, an opening asphalt roof and a raised design, combining access for your cat with access for routine cleaning.
Outdoor cat house with three access doors
Two entrances have curtains, while the side door can serve as a ladder when opened. The front and back openings measure 11 W x 22 H cm; the side opening measures 37 W x 21 H cm. Check these against your cat's body size, particularly the narrower front and rear entrances.
A clear front window lets you see into the house. An internal board provides an additional resting surface. Introduce the shelter gradually in a familiar area and keep the access routes clear.
Opening asphalt roof for cleaning access
The opening roof lets you reach inside to inspect and clean the shelter. Its asphalt covering is described as water-resistant, offering overhead cover without establishing that the entire house is waterproof or suitable for every weather condition.
Choose a sheltered, level location and monitor the interior for dampness. No insulation or tested temperature protection is specified, so do not rely on this house to keep cats warm or cool throughout the year.
Raised fir wood cat shelter
The fir wood structure stands 3.5cm off the ground and has protective footpads. This elevation provides separation from the surface underneath, but does not guarantee a dry floor during standing water or driving rain.
Overall dimensions are 77 L x 57.5 W x 68 H cm. Allow additional space to open the roof and side door and reach the house for maintenance.
Check fit for cats under 5kg
The supplier recommends cats under 5kg. The main house measures 62 W x 44 D x 58 H cm; these listed component dimensions do not establish usable interior space. Compare the entrance sizes and resting area with your cat's usual posture as well as their weight.
No separate structural or internal-board load limit is supplied. Confirm those limits with the supplier if needed rather than treating the cat-weight recommendation as a rating for each part.
