PawHut Pet Gate with Cat Door & Two Extensions – White, 74–100cm

Manage access between rooms with the PawHut pet gate with cat door. This white steel and PA gate fits openings from 74 to 100cm using the supplied 7cm and 14cm extensions as directed in the manual. A small door gives suitably sized cats a route through while the main gate remains closed.

The gate stands 76cm high and includes two extensions for different opening widths. Measure the intended doorway or hallway and use only the extension combinations approved in the instructions.

The small door measures 16 W x 25.5 H cm. Check your cat's body size against this opening, and remember that small dogs may also fit through it. It does not guarantee separation between cats and dogs.

Double lock and adjustable swing direction

The main gate has a double-lock system described as operable with one hand. The swing direction can be set for movement both ways or in one direction, according to the supplier. The walk-through opening is 45cm wide.

An automatic-closing function is described, but the source gives overlapping angle instructions: closing below 90 degrees and remaining open below 30 degrees. This pressure-fit model requires assembly and correct adjustment. The supplier specifically requires expansion screws for installation at stairway entrances or similar locations. Do not rely on pressure-only mounting there; follow the manufacturer's instructions for the exact position and fixing method.

The supplier notes that a gap at the lock before installation is normal and instructs adjustment until the gap is 2–3mm. Follow the complete manual rather than this measurement alone, and inspect the gate and fittings regularly. This is a pet gate, not a verified child safety barrier.

Size guidance for small and medium dogs

The supplier recommends small and medium dogs with a shoulder height of 25–50cm. Assess your pet's behaviour as well as size: the 76cm height does not guarantee containment of climbing or jumping animals. Check suitability against the 5.5cm tube spacing and the small pet-door opening.
