Consider a compact resting hideaway with the PawHut outdoor cat house with ramp. This grey fir wood shelter has an opening asphalt roof and a ramp-style front door, giving access to an enclosed resting space while keeping the overall footprint to 51 x 42cm.
Outdoor cat house with ramp-style entrance
The front door folds into a ramp-style access route and has listed dimensions of 16.5 W x 24.5 H cm. Confirm the clear doorway opening and installed ramp arrangement with the supplier if these are important to your cat's fit or mobility.
This model was originally designed as a small-animal shelter. Its use as a cat house depends on checking your cat's size and needs; suitability for every small cat or kitten is not established.
Check the compact interior before purchase
The listed interior measures 46 L x 39 W x 30 H cm. Compare this with your cat's sleeping posture and ability to turn comfortably, allowing for anything you intend to place inside.
No recommended cat weight or structural load capacity is supplied in the available specifications. Confirm these with the supplier rather than assuming the compact design establishes a particular weight allowance.
Opening asphalt roof for cleaning access
The opening roof lets you reach inside for inspection and routine maintenance. Follow the manual for operating and closing it. The asphalt covering provides overhead shelter, but no whole-house waterproof rating or tested temperature protection is supplied.
No insulation is specified. Position the shelter in a protected location, monitor the interior for dampness and provide an alternative appropriate shelter when outdoor conditions are unsuitable.
Raised wooden shelter and lockable door
The house stands 8cm off the ground, separating it from the surface below without guaranteeing a dry interior during standing water or driving rain. Use a suitable level surface and check that your cat can comfortably access the entrance.
A lockable front door is described. This does not establish escape-proof containment or suitability for leaving a cat confined unattended. Keep access appropriate to your cat's needs.
